Meet Our Guest Speaker
Melanie Matchett Wood is the William Caspar Graustein Professor of Mathematics at Harvard University.
Among numerous accolades, she has been named a MacArthur Fellow, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE). Professor Wood specializes in number theory, with her work often diving into other math fields including geometry and probability theory.
